THE PROBLEM

It is difficult for people with special needs to get custom apparel.

The material for the apparel is mostly not suitable for people  with limited movement.

If the person has hyper movement then the apparel and material does not provide comfort and flexibility.

The stitched clothes should support long hours of wear and movability.

Should go with latest trend in fashion, print and colour.

THE SOLUTION

UI

Aesthetics | Navigation | Typography | Visual design | Accessibility

UX

  1. As most of my target audience will be specially abled need of accessibility is the most important.

  2. The need to input fields describing disability can be intimidating, hence special care needs to be taken to get the input right or else the whole effort fails.

  3. The solution should make them aware of the product and its colour and feel.

  4. The accessibility feature should also be added, meaning, read aloud, haptic feed back.

How many categories are we considering/addressing ? Disabled, Recovery , Elderly, Assisted dressing, Dwarfism, Patients ? Headgear, footwear, top wear, bottom wear, full length body suit, bath wear.

Says

Says

It's tough to find performance-oriented clothing.

Long time wear gives skin issues.

Fabric is not comfortable.

Since it is stitched for a regular body, alteration made locally is not up to mark.

Pants should be worn standing on two legs.

Apparel from the same manufacturer have different fits every time.

Thinks

Thinks

To get the stitching done in her own surveillance.

The idea of personalized adaptive tailoring design remains quite distinctive.

To get it done from the competitors app and fine-tune the apparel by someone He/She knows for stitching.

The available option for the fabric is not enough.

Feels

Feels

There is no specific app hence feels left out.

A sense of self guilt for being handicapped.

No motivation to carry out extraordinary work.

Uncomfortable to perform due to apparel limitation

Fashion colour and print have already put up a dull feeling.

Disappointed - Other apps do not understand the requirement completely.
